# Shopify handoff

## TL;DR — ASD-STE100 style

- Prototype main owns the approved specification and generated handoff.
- The theme has its own content pin and acceptance evidence.
- Regenerate exports from their source; do not edit generated files by hand.

Read [PRD v5](https://github.com/somavedic/somavedic-redesign-uish/blob/main/PRD.md) and the [migration blueprint](https://github.com/somavedic/somavedic-redesign-uish/blob/main/docs/strategy/shopify-theme-migration-blueprint.md). The launch target is English at the root, with the United States and USD as primary market and currency. The prototype's Czech routing does not set the native launch URL scheme.

The design system and Shopify handoff exports are generated from repository sources. `lib/design-system/shopify-metafields.ts` owns the machine-readable custom-data contract. The [theme repository](https://github.com/somavedic/shopify-theme-v2) owns its implementation, pinned revision, and migration evidence. Updating documentation does not authorize CMS or Shopify writes or establish storefront acceptance.
