# Content and CMS

## TL;DR — ASD-STE100 style

- Payload stores the main localized content collections.
- UI text and some fallback copy live in the repository.
- Use the pull workflow to mirror production into local MongoDB.

## Content sources

Products, pages, blog posts, customer stories, ambassadors, glossary terms, FAQs, and media use Payload. UI strings use `messages/en.json` and `messages/cs.json`. Some page copy and fallbacks also live in code and fixtures. Check all relevant surfaces when editing copy.

## Refresh local content

The [pull skill](https://github.com/somavedic/somavedic-redesign-uish/blob/main/.agents/skills/pull/SKILL.md) defines the preflight, dry run, backup, media download, apply, and verification steps. It reads production and writes only to local MongoDB. It does not update production. Keep the production snapshot and local backup distinct: the snapshot records production content; the backup is the local restore point.

Do not seed or reset production. Follow [AGENTS.md](https://github.com/somavedic/somavedic-redesign-uish/blob/main/AGENTS.md) for database and authorization rules.
